Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), also known as Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF), is a fuel produced by the processing of commercial waste.
How is Refuse Derived Fuel produced?
Our base material is a mixture of bio-degradable and non-bio-degradable waste, which traditonally goes to landfill. The base material is then processed and segregated through state of the art equipment to remove glass, pvc, ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
To see the process in action, see our process video. Alternatively, if you would like to know more about Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF), please contact The Waste Exchange.
